In some email I received from Aaron Collins at Fri, Sep 13, 2002 at 09:50:18AM -0800: > Can anyone tell me if qmail-ldap cluster support, supports having > multiple servers in the mailhost attribute. What do you want actually? I`m doing a sync with rsync, every let say 4h cause i`m not syncing only qmail but other data - samba and stuff. The both machines are synced with ping/arp/arpwatch, services check also which is performed every 5/10 min. I do not suggest putting the data onto a NFS server, cause it dosent give you the redundancy you need. if you want simple redundancy, do an Maildir/%userdirs rsync. if you want cluser and shared resources not only data storage, beowulf.
Otherwise.. design carefully your redundant servers and built them, i`ve used sh scripts and few hacks in ping/arping/arpwatch. cheers, -lou > -- > Signed, > Aaron Collins > Lead Internet Infrastructure Engineer > [EMAIL PROTECTED]
