Hello All,
I'm trying to configure qmail with ldap, my
mailserver setup is
qmail-1.03 with ldap there is no system username
passwd for mail users.
my ldif entry looks like
dn: dc=abc, dc=com
objectclass: top dn: ou=accounts, dc=abc, dc=com
ou: accounts objectclass: top objectclass: organizationalUnit dn: uid=varman, ou=accounts, dc=abc, dc=com
cn: Keerthi sn: varman objectClass: top objectClass: person objectClass: inetOrgPerson objectClass: qmailUser mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailAlternateAddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailHost: abc.com mailMessageStore: /var/qmail/maildirs/varman qmailUser: varman uid: varman userPassword: varman i created a folder varman manually in
/var/qmail/maildirs/ as there is no system user called varman what should be the
permission for this folder.
I'm able to send mail from other mail server to
this id [EMAIL PROTECTED]. But i didnot find
any mail in the /var/qmail/maildirs/varman
folder and i'm using outlook to pop the mails, but it is not accepting the username and password. Regards,
