I've been having some problems getting qmail-ldap to work. It appears as if qmail isn't able to see the users. Here is a brief outline of what I have done
1. inserted users with ldapadd w/ldif file and qadduser from the qldapadmin package 2. I am able to search both users with ldapsearch and quserinfo but not with qmail-ldaplookup qmail-ldaplookup provides the following error after checking for the user, and mailalternates as well as catch alls, it returns "ldapsearch failed user not found giving up" I have checked the following control files and they seem to be correct for my installation ldapbasdsn ldapobjectclass ldapserver ldapuid/ldapgid The ldap server is set up to allow anonymous read acces at this time. Notes on my installation; dc = foo, dc = foo.com user : [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailhost : run1.foo.com accountstatus : active Ldap server is on one machine, while the qmail install is on run1.foo.com Aaron Gee ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent through Atlantic.Net Webmail.
