Henning Brauer: > it's based on a simple observation. many spam mails have two things in common: > -they us a sender adress from a big freemail system > -they are send from hosts without reverse DNS.
and recently, particulary in this mailing list, they use valinux.co.jp in the domain-part of From: header. same as mine! of course, everybody knows it is a lie by checking Received: headers or something. > my badmail-from unknown file is basically what maex already uses and > publishes: i am glad that you didnt put valinux.co.jp in this list. i dont know why the spam senders uses this address, but i am afraid that everybody doesnt receive the mails i send or others. by the way, i am writing two patches. one of them makes the contents of control files the environment variables, and reduce file i/o drastically. you may use it instead of famous qmail-ldap-control patch, but this patch will be very simple and will make no confuse or conflict. one thing as bad is re-setting environment variables needs qmail processes to restart. and the other patch is control/qmqproutes. the feature is as you can guess. i hope anyone send questions or opinions and try them in the near future.
