Hi Michael Fuller, Here's what I think may solve the "broadcast" issue. I think you may have to make use of the mailforwarding address attribute in place of looking at building the solution on mailalternetaddress attribute.
First create a mail account for the "boardcast" with the "mail" attribute having the value of something like "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" then create multiple "mailforwarding" attributes (under this same "boardcast" account) each having a single value of the email address one of the users of whom you'd like to receive a copy of any email sent to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". The expected behaviour will be that any email sent to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" will be sent to each of the mailforwardings' attributes email values. And there will be no email delivered to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'s maildir. Allan Kamau. If you did something like: mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailaternateaddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED] .... mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailalternateaddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED] etc etc then it won't work: mail + mailaternateaddressen needs to be unique ! whenever qmail-ldap detects two or more THE SAME emailaddresses it reverts to bouncing.
