Howdy! I'm fairly new to Qmail, so please forgive me if I've done
something tremendously stupid. Anyway, on to the meat: I've set up LDAP
and Qmail on the same server; ldap appears to work fine, but
qmail-ldaplookup doesn't. One issue I had with ldapsearch was that I had
to use the "-x" parameter, or else I got that annoying
"ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: No such attribute" -- I have no idea if
this might, or might not, be related. When I try qmail-ldaplookup -u kend
    I get:

init_ldap: passwords are not compared via rebind
                localdelivery: off
                clustering: off
                ldapobjectclass:
                homedirmaker: #!/bin/sh
                defaultDotMode: ldaponly
                defaultQuota:
                QuotaWarning:
------
undefined
------
qldap_lookup: searching with (uid=kend)
qldap_lookup: NOT successful: ldap_search failed
localdelivery off, so no local lookup

(qmail-ldaplookup -m [EMAIL PROTECTED] also fails similarly)
I've pointed the ldapserver file to the server's fully-qualified name, and
to localhost, and get the same result.

I tried -- honest! -- to check the archives for useful stuff, but none
seemed pertinent.

Any help would (of course) be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
