Thanks for yours replies about my question!
Today Ive solved the problem with the new qmail-ldap patch (qmail-ldap-1.03-20030301.patch). Im not sure what was the cause for the misbehavior
of the qmail-ldap search routines - maybe the LDAP protocol version - Ill read the QLDAPNEWS for an idea!
Thnaks!

Wagner Bento Coelho:
Hi!
Recently Ive changed my qmail-ldap installation (it was running fine) from a RedHat 7.3 (openldap with LDBM backend) to a machine with SuSE Linux 8.1 (openldap v3 with BDB backend). Im using the same version of qmail-ldap (qmail-ldap + control + smtp_auth - a combined patch). It was recompiled and installed without problem.
After that I cant find anything withing the LDAP server from qmail-ldap - all searches return no entries. The qmail-ldaplookup tool, also, return no entries. Any message for an user registered with the LDAP database cant be delivered as local (no user here with...)
The funny thing: Im using an old version of phpQLAdmin (v1.1) and, with this tool, I can do all with the LDAP database: add users, domains, controls variables, search (and retrieve) objects...
Some thought about wath is wrong?
Thanks a lot for any help!
