Yes, i have done it for procmail filtering. A plugin for procmail is
available on the squirrelmail website, but that plugin was for "Linux box
users" and not for "ldap users".  I changed its code a bit and made it
write .qmail and .procmailrc files to users home directory(
/var/qmail/maildirs/<user>/ )
The script basically ftp the files to user's home directory. I don't know
how much it is unsecure, but i did that for myself.

Similarly one can ftp .forward and .qmail files ( it needs dot-forward
tool ) to users home directory. I would have done that, but i couldn't get
time to write an interface for mail forwarding for squirrelmail.

  Not tried vacation stuff.
