Yes, i have done it for procmail filtering. A plugin for procmail is available on the squirrelmail website, but that plugin was for "Linux box users" and not for "ldap users". I changed its code a bit and made it write .qmail and .procmailrc files to users home directory( /var/qmail/maildirs/<user>/ ) The script basically ftp the files to user's home directory. I don't know how much it is unsecure, but i did that for myself. Similarly one can ftp .forward and .qmail files ( it needs dot-forward tool ) to users home directory. I would have done that, but i couldn't get time to write an interface for mail forwarding for squirrelmail. Not tried vacation stuff. > Basically I'm using qmail-ldap and I'd like to be able to have people > be able to > A) forward their mail > B) setup a vacation/auto-reply. > > Anyone done this, either with squirrelmail or with another utilitiy I know it seems a bit weird, but you asked if anyone has done that :). Anyway, if you like the idea then write me. I will explain you in detail. Regards, Qutub.
