I've got qmail-ldap running:

  openldap20-2.0.25_3
  qmail-ldap2-with_tls-1.03.20020901

and just started doing some SMTP and POP throughput tests using a
couple tools from Stalker.com (maker of CommuniGatePro MTA):

http://www.stalker.com/MailTests/default.html

I invoke it with 1000 sessions each delivering 3 messages:

    time ./SMTPTest 198.116.138.149 cshenton /etc/motd 1000 3

    real 1m33.097s
    user 0m0.082s
    sys 0m0.269s

I look at my Maildir on the qmail-ldap system and see it's delivered
20 of them to the local mailbox, but the other 2980 messages are just
sitting in the queue, waiting to be delivered to the same mailbox. It
appears that qmail-send is hung?

I try to toggle it, with "svc -t /service/qmail" and it doesn't
restart; the only thing I see in the logs is:

    status: qmail-todo exiting asap

The only Google hit I get on that is qmail-ldap's:

    http://www.nrg4u.com/qmail/ext_todo-20020524.patch

Any pointers on why my qmail-send appears wedged, and how I can
unwedge it? It sounds like I have the EXTTODO patch for "silly qmail
(queue) problem", given the message text.

Could this be due to "tarpitcount" and "tarpitdelay" which I have set
to 10 and 5 respectively? Shouldn't that only affect the SMTP
portion?

Thanks
