oh sorry i forgot the maildir program. cause spamc writes to stdout you need a program that writes the output in a file in your maildir.
look at: http://www.magma.com.ni/~jorge/spamassassin.html for the question "
Where is the "maildir" program?"

In your string below, is "maildir" supposed to be a program? I don't quite understand this statement. I don't have a program called "maildir" on my qmail-ldap system. I understand the |spamc part of the statement, and I understand the ./Maildir/ part, but the |maildir part confuses me.

hi,
we have the following string in the .qmail file of the user: |spamc -f |maildir ./Maildir/
the individual spamassassin/spamd configurations are in a mysql-db. spamd started with the following options: "/usr/bin/spamd -a -q -x -m 40 -u SPAMDUSER"
works fine if you have .qmail files for your users.

Hallo,
until now I've found a lot of contradictory information about the most effective way of hooking spamassassin to qmail-LDAP on a per account basis. Is there anyone with clear statements (and maybe a howto)?.
