these are on different controllers/channels? My guess is that if these are lumped together, then you get a large capacity, but very slow throughput. Try mirroring for the queue and the mail spool if you want redundancy - jbod should actually decrease the reliability of your system... If I remember correctly, Mylex controllers aren't the fastest in the world, too. Best, --Toni++
