You change your value in qmail-ldap.h and/or your schema under AD. Furthermore, you use bind method to identifiate your user because AD doesnt seem to return the encryptred passsword as an attribute (so you cannot compare it). It works well but I need a persistent connection :)

I don't have a solution to your problem, but I'm very much interested in
setting up qmail-ldap to have Active Directory as its backend. How do
