yes, it is.

The least this will do is gradually (maybe even immediately) fill any
available pipes to your server with shit because you can accept
unlimited amounts of spam. So they get paid for sending you spam, and
you're paying for receiving it to your ISP. If you happen to
inadvertantly break this special configuration, you'll likely shit on
the 'Net like hell. Mind you, spammers usually have more resources to
waste than most of us.

Probably the best thing you can do is to 4xx or 5xx spammers if you
can't catch them on the IP level already. The next best thing may be to
get them caught.
