It is not that necessary. You could use savannah,
SourceForge or any kind of free repository that hosts
free software projects to do this.

Hmmm... it is software and it is documentation,
so probably it is never going to be finished at all. :)
And we are in a free software bazaar model, which means,
"if you see a need, fill it" (stolen from Robots (tm)).

We already know that your ideas are good and that
you are trying to provide more documentation to qmail-ldap
which is great. But it is important to understand that we
can work in a lot of ways to provide manpages, wiki is
one of them? Sure! But it is not that good, there is
other ways. :)
There is a great software called txt2tags that
is able to convert from text files to other formats,
including mdoc. Wiki are collaborative tools, a good
use for it should be the life-with-qmail-ldap and
how-to's, and also related reports and cases.
manpages sometimes demands that you know the
programs and how they work, we could even get it ready
for being translated using techniques like po4a and
other related stuff.
A repository like CVS/SVN can even help us
tracking changes, auto-build, revision process and QA.
Debian work in this way and it is really nice, maybe
we can even feed the week throught the repository.
qmail-ldap patch is licensed under BSD which is
DFSG-free and I could check to add it to Alioth (a
Debian Machine), but I will suggest a repository in
qmail-ldap.org with anonymous access, patches by the
maillist and there is also a chance to build a manual
in a collaborative effort.
This way sounds better than feeding the wiki
and try to convert it to other patterns. Believe me,
wiki's are not the best tool to manage manpages and
translations efforts. :)
