I have made a test, and Hardik you are right :)

If the compile flag -DQUOTATRASH is not passed to qmail-ldap, it doesn't count the size of the .Trash maildir subdirectory

But, why this compiled flag isn't explained in the install doc?

How doy you know about this compile flag?
