Dear list,

This is a newbie question. I'm an IT manager who needs to pick up where a consultant seems to have left off. He installed qmail 1.03 and qmail-ldap. OpenLDAP is installed as well. The consultant installed all of this on fedora core 2. The project was supposed to be wrapped up months ago. He started back in March.. He was paid before I was hired and I haven't heard from him in almost a month. So now I need to figure out exactly what he's done as far as getting qmail, qmail-ldap and openldap to work. By the way, I have a years' experience in administering qmail, but I've never installed it. I have a little experience with openldap, and I can get into it with phpldapadmin. I know enough about qmail to have determined that he didn't configure it in anyway to send or receive mail. We're currently getting e-mail from an ISP. I think he got stalled at the qmail-ldap to openldap integration. So, any ideas on how I should do the forensics on this and get things working?

Thanks in advance for the help,

David
