-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 We're using qmail-ldap (patched with qmail-spp and some other minor patches) and it worked like a charm but...
Few days ago group of users reported that their group address does not work for mail comming from outside our organisation. Because LDAP (and qmail-ldap) does not allow multiple users to have same mail address I've created .qmail-XXXXXXX file containing emails in /var/qmail/alias directory. Now when somebody send email for [EMAIL PROTECTED]: a) authenticated users - RCPTCHK for them is disabled so everything is working fine and mail is delivered, b) not authenticated users - they receive "no mailbox" response during SMTP session. I created patch that adds verification of .qmail files in /var/qmail/alias for qmail-verify but i'm wondering if maybe there is some config file i should have "enabled" (localdelivery is enabled) and it was not needed. If you're interested in patch you can find it here: http://mirek.czuwaj.net/patches/qmail-1.03-ldap-spp-20060706_2159.patch 1st warning: directory name is hardcoded... sorry it was quick fix 2nd warning: it's provided as is - it works fine for me but it may not for you... :) Best regards - -- - ----------------------- Miroslaw Lach (MiLek) mirek#czuwaj/net loc: KO02MF44 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEtTRtOLcZClO2CHQRAqs0AJ9NJ1tn591PEwhjaxyljPFzVkthJgCeJ4ne uUoiFxMcMQIYj0kJIKICQvo= =0XaR -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
