You're (possibly) missing the 'ldappassword' and 'ldaplogin' file. You shouldn't need them if you allow read to EVERYTHING in your database, but you wouldn't do that, would you?! And it SEEMS there's something wrong with the 'ldapserver'. It seems like it finds it, but can it read it? It should be owned 'qmails:qmail' with the access of '640' (or better yet - it's not that secret - 644). > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.508659500 control_readline: Looking for: > 'control/ldapcontroldn' > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.508698500 Searching FS > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.508731500 2b:value > (control/ldapcontroldn) = 'ou=qmailldap,o=servermx,dc=ldap' That's what it should look like if it can _read_ the file (see corresponding entry for 'ldapserver'). > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.508993500 qldap_ctrl_bind: Opening LDAP connection to > 127.0.0.1 10.0.2.23: > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.509435500 qldap_open: ldap_init(127.0.0.1 10.0.2.23, > 389): SUCCESS It does however seems like it can read the 'ldapserver' file... > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.512517500 qldap_ctrl_bind: Binding to LDAP server as : > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.512551500 qldap_bind: successful And it can bind anonymously... > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.527220500 control_readline: Looking for: > 'control/ldapbasedn' > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.527258500 Searching FS > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.527293500 2b:value > (control/ldapbasedn) = 'dc=ldap' So far so good... > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.527715500 control_readline: Looking for: > 'control/ldaprebind' > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.527749500 Searching FS > 2006-07-10 16:55:59.527782500 Can't open > control/ldaprebind (errno=2) Just a note (nothing with the functionality per-see). You should have this defined, so that any pop/imap/smtp auths work correctly. >From what I can see, all is well. Mostly. What exactly is your problem? Does a 'qmail-ldaplookup -m <mailaddress>' work?
