Hello. User of Lotus Domino (LD) server sends an email to qmail user. The mail goes to qmail, but ld has in it's log "0 messages transfered", so the mail still resides in it's queue. After 10 minutes ld tries to deliver this mail again and again and again...
>From the qmail's side every attempt is successful. So after few hours recipient has tens of same email in his maildir. As far as I see, domino retries to send the email because it does not receive back the information that mail has been queued by qmail. But qmail sends this information... I think it is domino's fault that it does not wait log enough or it does not parse correctly return info from qmail. Some messages are being delivered with no problems, some wait in queue for hours.
