Make sure that:

1 - the zone where you are defining those MX A records is mydomain.com.
Preform a lookup at mx.mydomain.com and see if it resolves to the
correspondent addresses.

2 - Defining only A records for MX, you will have to send mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], since the zone mydomain.com doesn't have any MX
records associated. If that is what you were planning to do, you'll need
to setup proper MX records.
