I think that the patch is applied within the qmail-ldap-1.03-20060201.patch

In fact my Makefile is like this:

# -DBIGTODO to enable the big todo patch (this can be used together with EXTERNAL_TODO). Useful for servers with very many non-preprocessed mails # -DEXTERNAL_TODO to use the external high-performance todo processing (this avoids the silly qmail syndrome with high injection rates)

LDAPFLAGS=-DALTQUEUE -DBIGBROTHER -DBIGTODO -DDASH_EXT -DDATA_COMPRESS -DEXTERNAL_TODO -DQLDAP_CLUSTER -DQMQP_COMPRESS -DSMTPEXECCHECK -DDOMAIN_ALIAS

   Carlos.

Have you the exttodo patch enable?

I have suffered same problem with an old qmail installation. qmail-send
always suffered big delay for stop/restart.

I think that this is due to overload, but I'm not sure.

Hi friends,

Anybody knows that's the why because when I do

svc -d /service/qmail-send

qmail stat ==>

/service/qmail-send: up (pid 769) 208 seconds, want down

and never down?

So I have to use KILL or svc -i in order to stop qmail.

Thank you very much.

    Carlos.
