The only method that I can think is included the greylisting logic
into qmail-smtpd. Any patch which apply greylist with an standalone
binary before that qmail-smtp doesn't work.
Mario Almeida posted a mail in this list with
qmail-1.03-libpq-greylist-1.2.4 some time ago. I don't sure if this
patch do the necessary for you case. Test it.
