this is exactly what happens on my setup, mail is scanned by qmail-scanner and spamassassin then relayed to smtproutes... though, i need to be able to catch and filter the mail before it relays so i can redirect any email tagged as spam to an external address... surely there is a way to do this !! isn't there ?
