I recently installed qmail-scanner with clamav and spamassassin, as below.
cat qmail-scanner-queue-version.txt clamscan: 0.24. spamassassin: 2.41. qmail-scanner is Mail-SpamAssassin-2.41.tar.gz The box is a default RH7.3 box, with maildrop and Time-HiRes installed as necessary. The SUID test passes (can properly run suidperl as qmailq). If I run contrib/test_installation -doit ,everything works. Perfectly. I get one email, and two more alerts about emails that weren't allowed. But when I have: [root@gash /var/qmail/bin]# cat /etc/tcp.smtp 127.0.0.1:allow,RELAYCLIENT="" :allow,QMAILQUEUE="/usr/local/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl" And rebuild the tcp.cdb, email stops working. Emails bounce, after a long delay, with a message "550 qq permenant problem" I'd paste you my qmail-queue.log except all it contains are messages about the success of the tests. There appears no messages regarding the failure anywhere in any log and I'm pulling my hair out as to what's going on! Any help appreciated. -- -------- Amway aka a2k stole "the plan" from South Park's underpants gnomes Yes Darren, I absolutely love it... http://orbital.wiretapped.net/~technion ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Qmail-scanner-general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qmail-scanner-general
