Sorry for the list flooding.. but the situation has changed. Following a pretty much full reinstall to try and fix this problem, I'm reallly tearing my hair out. Now what happens is.. ./test-installation -doit works as expected. All remote email just dissapears.. no logs, no bounces, no nothing. In over an hour of waiting nothing happens. As soon as I edit /etc/tcp.smtp and remove the QMAILQUEUE line then mail goes through magically.
For those that missed it, [root@gash /var/log/qmail]# /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -v qmail-scanner-queue.pl Version: 1.14 Perl: Summary of my perl5 (revision 5.0 version 6 subversion 1) configuration: Scanners: perlscanner, clamscan_scanner, spamassassin Scanner versioning: clamscan: 0.24. spamassassin: 2.41.
