I am running version the following
perl v5.6.1
qs 1.15
libc 2.3.1
running qmail 1.3 in supervised mode.
using messagewall 1.8 as a front end to qmail.
using iscan scanner 3.1

Problem is after more than three years of running
qs I have started running into a problem that
qs does not exit after scanning certian messages.
Qmail scanner leaves qmail-smtp and qs process running and
never exits. I will find after a few hours about 10 processes
(max smtp). I have started debug mode and I do not see errors
in it, but I am not sure what to look for in regards to anything
out of the ordinary.

What this then does is after some time causes blocking
of email since all of the smtp prccesses are used up and
messagewall tells the servers to retry do to backend failure.

This began, it seems, after upgrading a few weeks ago libc and find
utils.
I am really not sure what the true cause or packages that were
updated at the time that could have started this.

If I restart the supervised services all of the blocked proceses
clear and everything seems to work fine for a few hours.

I am also running debian unstable if this helps any.

Just to note this is the first and only problem that I have
ever had with qs since using it on more than 10 servers in over
three years.

Thanks, if any other info is needed let me know I am very
perplexed by this situation.
