...well then you can't have "just installed qmail-scanner" as that isn't an
issue in the current release :-)

Um, I don't know if I'm spelling out the obvious, but if you have customers
requiring a quality service, then you really should *test* things before
going live with them... Changing perl for a system that is perl-based really
should have made you think. Also, the documentation for the older releases
of Qmail-Scanner do explicitly say that perl-5.8 *isn't* supported...
