I've just set up qmail-scanner 1.16 and tried to hit it with some
spam from a remote account. Strangely, even though spamd logged:

  |Feb 11 21:27:15 fs spamd[8869]: connection from localhost [127.0.0.1] at port 44141
  |Feb 11 21:27:15 fs spamd[17855]: info: setuid to root succeeded
  |Feb 11 21:27:15 fs spamd[17855]: Still running as root: user not specified with -u,
not found, or set to root. Fall back to nobody.
  |Feb 11 21:27:15 fs spamd[17855]: checking message
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for root:99, expecting 2222
bytes.
  |Feb 11 21:27:16 fs spamd[17855]: identified spam (4.3/4.0) for root:99 in 0.9
seconds, 2222 bytes.

and

   spamc -c also returns 4.3/4.0

the email was delivered with the following headers. [see below]

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? My tcp.smtp looks like:
  |#
  |# No Qmail-Scanner at all for mail from 127.0.0.1
  |127.:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",RBLSMTPD="",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue"
  |#
  |# Use Qmail-Scanner without SpamAssassin on any mail from the local network
  |# [it triggers SpamAssassin via the presence of the RELAYCLIENT var]

|10.:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",RBLSMTPD="",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"
  |#
  |# Use Qmail-Scanner with SpamAssassin on any mail from the rest of the world
  |:allow,QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"

which is about as stock as it gets.

I'm new to this game and am probably making some simple mistake.
None-the-less, I'd appreciate your help. Thank you.
