Howdy list,
I have "sobig" in my list of --silent-viruses. And I am (appropriately) still getting emails to the email alert address.
How can I confirm that this virus is indeed being treated as silent? Grep for the sender address in my maillog? (nothing there)

If you are blocking all the pif files attachment, the subroutine valid_virus_to_report donīt catch the sobig viruses unless you add to your quarantine-attachment.txt the following lines:
movie0045.pif 0 Sobig Virus wicked_scr.scr 0 Sobig Virus application.pif 0 Sobig Virus document_9446.pif 0 Sobig Virus details.pif 0 Sobig Virus your_details.pif 0 Sobig Virus thank_you.pif 0 Sobig Virus document_all.pif 0 Sobig Virus your_document.pif 0 Sobig Virus
Remember to use tabs, not spaces and rerun "/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g"
