Hello to the list. I use a Slackware 9.0. i have running with root the ./configure and the ./configure --install
because in Slackware 9.0 the suidperl dont' exist i have compiled the qmail-scanner-queue.c in the contrib dir. i have launched chmod 0755 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl at this point i get 451 qq temporary problem. in the dir /var/spool/qmailscan i have qmail-queue.log, qmail-scanner-queue-version.txt,quarantine-attachments.db, quarantine-attachments.txt, owned by root. I have changed this owner with qscand user and now the qmail-scanner function. the next time when i change quarantine-attachments.txt and recompile his .db version with the root account i need to change the owner to qscand. I write this to mailing-list to ask is this procedure is correct or i have mistake also ??
