Hi Jason,

Thanks for replying, first of all. :)
I think I have most of it figured out, although I still have a few problems:

- SpamAssassin is already scanning: I missed the part of your docs where you mention QS_SPAMASSASSIN, and all mail is beying relayed to this relayer(!) through a local server (for testing purposes), hence the no spam checking. (yes.. my bad.. sorry)

- virus are being detected.. well almost.. still with the "--fix-mime 0" I discovered that, inside the qmail-scanner perl script, uvscan was not "uvscan_scanner" as it should, but only "uvscan" (don't know how that happened...). However, when running test_installation.sh , mail 2/4 is not detected as virus (should be by qmail-scanner) but 3/4 is (uvscan detects it).

I guess I'll have to have a few more shots at it tomorrow morning...

Thanks,
Ricardo Oliveira

?? I can't figure out how that could possibly happen.

Your system is majorly screwed up then. You are running something else/some
patch that is breaking everything.

? I've heard of no-one else saying:

* running test_installation.sh triggers "disallowed breakage" events
* incoming SMTP runs Q-S but viruses are not caught. And yet they are when
  piped in locally.

I can't recall anyone else saying that...

Yup - same as me.
