shuld do the trick (at least, similar setup works here with vmailmgr), but you must also have: .qmail-baronsam file (chmod 600) in /home/vpopmail where you can put further directions for delivery (I'm invoking procmail filtering), or maybe just simple delivery command like (for vmailmgr) /usr/bin/vdeliver (don't know about vpopmail). > and there would be no "postmaster =" ? you can have something like: postmaster = ~vpopmail/Maildir/ to catch those not delivered through local directive. > > virtual user Maildir is in > /home/vpopmail/domains/samuelmurez.com/baronsam/Maildir > > delivery to local users, not virtual, does not work on my system anymore > > what do you mean by "if I have domain.com virtal domain handled by username > local user" ? > It's because of the difference between vpopmail & vmailmgr. Vmailmgr has SEPARATE system account for every virtual domain, whle vpopmail puts ALL virtual domains under the same system account - vpopmail. > does it matter where the .getmailrc is ? Yes, you should have your .getmailrc under vpopmail account and run it as vpopmail. The natural place is /home/vpopmail/.getmail/getmailrc, but it should not be since you can run getmail wih: getmail -r vpopmailrc. see man getmail :-) > sorry for being so slow, I appreciate your help, It's OK.
