I have a server w/FreeBSD 4.9, Qmail 1.3, Qmail-Scanner 1.16 installed, I was experimenting with MAILMAN mail list software. Qmail stopped deliverying mail. I removed MAILMAN, and mail still wasn't being delivered. Only after I removed the QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner.pl" variable in the tcp.smtp mail started to delivery again. When I check the headers on my inbound mail, QMAIL-SCANNER is still scanning mail. I'm baffled why inbound mail is still being scanned by QMAIL-SCANNER even though variable isn't defined in the TCP.SMTP under the :allow line. Any ideas?
