I have qmail-scanner running on a FreeBSD 5.1 box no problems at all, very
easy, i built qmail via LWQ ( www.lifewithqmail.org )

I didn't applyt any special patches, only because i didn't need them ( other
than qmailqueue obviously )

What problem are you having specifically?

You won't find too many HOWTO's qmail stuff is pretty vague that way :)

I'll be happy to help as much as i can...
