Thanks for any real life feedback,

Hi,

Double or triple or more the load if you are running SA on the same machine. We run spamd on a seperate server for three of our inbound mail servers, and we find that is the best solution for any high volume of mail.

If you are under 10-20K a day mails you should be fine if you have a beefy enough machine. We scan about 20k emails a day on a 1GHz Duron with clamav and verbose_spamassassin with the load always staying below 1.00.

Regards,

Rick
