hello... I am running qmail 1.01. I was having all the user's email go to a single file called Mailbox. I've switched to a Maildir format. I am using the tcpserver package for smtp delivery. I am running qmail-pop3d. What I have noticed is the following lines in my syslog/message files: It looks like the server is spawing 2 processes. Jan 25 14:36:01 ultra qmail-popup[12934]: connect from angus-proxy.ccp.com Jan 25 14:36:01 ultra qmail-popup[12935]: connect from angus-proxy.ccp.com ----------- I am getting this error message too. (in my syslog file) Jan 25 13:49:46 ultra inetd[71]: pop3/tcp server failing (looping), service terminated ------------ So to fix the above message, I did a quick fix. I am restarting inetd every 5 minutes and I don't get the above error message. -------- Can anyone sort this mess out? Anybody run into something like this.
