how to use my database when qmail to delieve letters to a users??

Hi:    please help me!    how to tell qmail that the user  is in a database,then to delieve his(her) letter to /var/spool/mail/$USER.how to use qmail-POP3d get the letter?(it as a rule use Mailbox or Maildir)    thanks!!
