mailquotacheck and quota.patch

Hello.   I've installed mailquotacheck, but I would like that when a message can't be delivered (because exceeds the quota) it is sent back to the sender.   I've seen that exists a patch, quota.patch, which is supposed to do this. Is there a manual or whatever on how to use it, select the quota... because I can only download the patch with no instructions.
