I got qmail (SMTD + POP3) running, but when I tried testing POP3 server I was
surprised to see this response from the server:
[root@nmlinux1 alias]# telnet localhost 25
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 machine.domain.com ESMTP
HELP
214 qmail home page: http://pobox.com/~djb/qmail.html
USER otis
502 unimplemented (#5.5.1)
Am I doing something wrong or missing something obvious? It is 1 AM here now.
