Hello everyone.
I was having some troubles with all the messages recieved being dated
only one date(rather than when they acutally arrived)--but reinstalling
qmail-smtpd fixed that. I'm not sure what the problem was, so if someone
could offer some insite, I'd appreciate it.
Other than that, I'm having some problems with messages being "lost."
I've got my linux machine(this is all at my home) running fetchmail, qmail,
samba...the necessities... and I'm using imap from my windows machine to
read my mail. That way, I don't need to send and recieve from the windows
machine if I've got my mail program open. The messages pop up within a
minute of being recieved(after fetchmail sends them to qmail). My problem
is that, every once and while, I click on a message to download it from the
server, but it "doesn't exist" and I can't read it. The thing stays in my
Maildir(so I can read it with a text editor), but something wierd is going
on here for them not being available to my mail program(MS OE5)... Message
size seems to have nothing to do with it...I can't think of anything else at
the moment. I'm running imap-4.5-3mdir4 from
ftp://summersoft.fay.ar.us/pub/qmail/qmail-imap/ and qmail 1.03+patches.
Imap is running from inetd while the rest are using tcpserver.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Jacob Joseph
