Not all binary attachments are bad. PGP/MIME signed messages (such as
this one) put the PGP signature in a MIME attachment, see
http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2015.txt.

I would be very unhappy if someone was removing the PGP signatures
from my messages.
