SPAMCONTROL

I recently installed SPAMCONTROL (1.3.0) 
and got to wonder how to handle control/relayclients, relaydomains and
relaymailfrom.
can i use these files without setting RELAYCLIENT with tcpserver and hows the
syntayx within these files ??
