Don't do that. dex.co.za has to go only into /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts.

Yes, you may use the MX from DNS or better (for DNS outages) put an entry 
into /var/qmail/control/smtproutes:

dex.co.za:[ip-addr-of-exchange-server]
