Hi,
I have already used in same situations postfix how first e-mail e-mail server and
qmail how 2nd mail server, and there is no problem.
Note: qmail with tcpserver and vpopmail.

Assunto: qmail as 2nd MX
Hallo,
at my company I am switching a large site from sendmail to qmail. This
is done partly as an evaluation of qmail to find out, if it is
suitable to be used on a number of other sites as well. I'd just love
to convince my boss to use qmail here, so don't let me down ;-))
The mailserver in question is supposed to run a mail forewarding
service for roughly 10'000 domains. For each Domain there is a number
of usernames which are mapped to other eMail addresses. For most of
these domains it is the secondary mailserver (the primary is still
running sendmail).
My Problem is, that qmail does not process eMails using
virtualdomains, if it is not 1st mailserver. Instead, they are put it
in the queue for later delivery through the 1st mailserver. However,
the first mailserver is is too busy to handle all that mail. This is
the reason they ended up here in the first place.
Question: how do I make qmail process eMail using virtualdomains even
if it not primary mailserver for the domain in question?
Regards
Diedrich
