I don't know if anyone has posted an official 'fix' or a workaround for the hotmail problems but I have managed to get the mail flowing at my site by adding the following line to /var/qmail/control/smtproutes hotmail.com:mc1.law5.hotmail.com It's not the best but it cleared out the 170 odd messages in the queue.
