I took the suggestion of the mailing list and have just about
finished redoing the international language support. Here
are the key changes/features
1) No more gif images except for the login page.
a) gif images cause the tarball to include gifs
for each laguage. Which makes the overall
size become excessive. Plus people doing the
translations have to be able to create gif
images with thier language in the buttons. ugh
2) All translated text will be in a single dictionary
file per language. So only that file needs to be
translated. And all languages will share the same
html templates
I think that will make things alot more portable and
efficent.
