Please help!
I am using qmail-1.03, qmailadmin-0.45,
vpopmail-4.9.10, and autorespond-1.1.0a
I can not get autoresponder to work for the life of
me! I log in to qmail admin, and under user 'test', I create autoresponder
'AUTORESPONDER_TEST'. All files in /home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com seem to
be created correctly. A file called .qmail-autoresponder_test is created that
reads:
|/usr/local/bin/autorespond 10000 5
/home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com/AUTORESPONDER_TEST/message
/home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com/AUTORESPONDER_TEST
&[EMAIL PROTECTED] A directory called 'AUTORESPONDER_TEST' is created
that contains the file 'message' which has my autorespond message.
When I send a message to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]', the message get's to
user test's /Maildir/ but there is no autoresponding message send to the
original sender. I installed autorespond as directed in 'autorespond.txt' using
'gcc -Wall -o autorespond autorespond.c' and then 'cp autorespond
/usr/local/bin'. /usr/local/bin/autorespond is owned by user root, group root,
is that ok?
The qmail log shows what looks like the message
being delivered successfully to [EMAIL PROTECTED] but never shows anything
about a message being sent to the original sender. It looks to me like
autorespond is not even being called.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jon
