I have some code that I've written for sqwebmail that adds "default domain"
functionality to the "domain" text field on the login page. It also allows
for a drop down menu of domains and wildcard URL rewrite rules to help
automate the login process for users. It's kind of like vpopmail's IP alias
functionality, but it works well for virtual DNS based domains too.

The code will port pretty easily to qmailadmin: All I should have to do is drop
it in. And I think it'll make a great new feature for sys admins with a
lot of domains and users.

However, I haven't begun porting it yet because I don't currently have a
dedicated test box to debug on, and because the patch has been changing
frequently up until just a few days ago. It _may_ go through one more revision
for code clarity soon, but it's perfectly usable and bug free now.

Anyway, the point of this is: I'd love to see this thing in the next production
release. Is anyone planning a new production release soon? Or is it still up
in the air?

If a new release is planned soon, then I'd be happy to go ahead and port
my code to qmailadmin today or tommorrow so that everyone has a chance to
take a look at it and decide whether they want it in the production release.

The code is stable and well tested. It's kinda a win win thing. I just need
to know when the next release will be.
