Good Day,

I just migrated from FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE to Apple OS X Server and have run
into a snag with qmailadmin.

If I try to login to existing domains that were copied over from the old
server I receive an invalid login message. Logins via squirrelmail, and POP3
/ IMAP (courier-imap-1.4.1) work without any problems. All user data is
stored in mysql and I did a full dump (mysqldump --all-databases --all -c
--add-drop-table) and imported into the new server.

If I reset the password via vpasswd to the exact same password that
currently exists I am able to login to qmailadmin no problems.

Is there a known issue when moving from one server to another that affects
the authentication mechanism in qmailadmin or a fix out there is anyone else
has seen this.

Software being used is

Apple OS X Server (Darwin Kernel Version 6.8)
qmailadmin 1.0.29
vpopmail 5.3.27
mysql 3.23.53
courier-imap-1.4.1
qmail-1.03 with some patches from Matt Simerson

Any help would be greatly appreciated as having to reset passwords on 1000
or so mail users would be a bit of a pain.

Let me know if anymore information is required.

Cheers,
Elliott Perrin
