At old times we got both alias and forwards... it was trivial to setup a 'store and forward' account.
Now that only forwards are available, what's the recommended way to achieve the same functionality?
Set up a POP/IMAP mailbox for storing the email. On the configuration screen for that box, set it up to forward to another address and store a copy locally.
You can also set up forwards to mixed local and remote accounts. Since it's an actual forward, the local account will have its quota checked and .qmail file followed (unlike with old-style aliases).
